Shakeia Brodie, MA, LPC, LCMHC, CPCS

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in Georgia and North Carolina, as well as a telehealth-only provider for Florida and South Carolina. I’m passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward mental and emotional wellness. My work focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, and sexual concerns in a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment.

My approach is rooted in the belief that every person has the strength and potential to overcome life’s obstacles. Whether you’re struggling with sexual anxiety, exploring your inner sexual interests, or seeking to improve the quality of your relationships, I am here to help you gain clarity, confidence, and deeper connection. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back and create a personalized plan to help you move forward with purpose and fulfillment.

As a professional, I aim to not only help you work through your current challenges but also empower you with tools and insights to navigate future experiences with resilience. I’m committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for clients of all backgrounds, orientations, and identities, because your story deserves to be heard and honored.

“We can’t become what we need to be by remaining what we are.” - Oprah Winfrey

Some Fun Facts

I’m a Carolina girl at heart! Originally from Fayetteville, NC, I moved to Georgia in 2016. I absolutely love fall and winter, enjoy watching crime shows, and have a passion for traveling. When I’m not working, you can find me spending quality time with my two sons, Zachariah and Zaivier, and our sweet chiweenie dog, Bella.

Therapeutic Approach

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I firmly believe that each client’s journey is unique. Meeting clients where they are—emotionally, mentally, and even physically—is an integral part of the therapeutic relationship. My approach is centered on creating a space where you feel heard, valued, and understood.

I use a blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to your needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. These techniques help address present challenges while also uncovering deeper emotional patterns that may be influencing your thoughts and behaviors.

My style is nonjudgmental and authentic. I’ll challenge you when needed, but always with sincerity and compassion. I strive to help my clients uncover their inner strengths, develop new coping skills, and create actionable steps to achieve their personal and relational goals. Whether it’s navigating anxiety or building healthier relationships, my role is to walk beside you as a guide and partner in your journey toward growth.

Therapy isn’t just about addressing problems—it’s about discovering who you are, embracing your unique qualities, and building a life aligned with your values and aspirations.
